Rex Applegate's body of work has instructed and influenced generations of fighting men and women around the world. He studied with W.E. Fairbairn (with whom he designed the Applegate-Fairbairn Knife) and E.A. Sykes, served as a bodyguard to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and trained OSS operatives in CQB during World War II. His Paladin titles include Kill or Get Killed, Bullseyes Don't Shoot Back (with Michael Janich), Close Combat Files of Col. Rex Applegate (with Chuck Melson), and Combat Use of the Double-Edged Fighting Knife.
